Enter your marks obtained and total marks to calculate your result percentage.
Worked Example — 450 out of 500
Frequently Asked Questions
Divide marks obtained by total marks, then multiply by 100 — enter both numbers above and the result updates instantly.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- This is single-exam marks, not multi-subject aggregation. For a semester/year result across several subjects, use the Semester Percentage Calculator instead — this page is for one marks-obtained/total-marks pair at a time.
- Bonus or grace marks can push the result above 100%. That's expected, not an error — if marks obtained exceeds total marks because of grace marks, the percentage will simply read over 100%.
